Plumas Christian High School took a trip to China in March of 2011. The purpose of the trip was to teach English to Chinese high school students. We travelled to Lincang, in the Yunnan Province, far to the west and south of China, approximately 100 miles from the Burmese border. On the last four days of the trip, the students toured the Beijing area, seeing the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, the Olympic Complex, Tiananmen Square, and many other wonderful sights. Many wonderful friends were gained among the Chinese students, and our PCS students are planning a return trip in the spring of 2013. The trip was made possible through the Association of Christian Schools International, of which Plumas Christian is a member.
